The end!

So many things happened and I didn't even document any of it in my blog!

I'm a failure.

1) End of internship

Yes, yes the last time I blogged I was super nervous to start on that journey and now it's already over woops. One month pretty much zoomed away super fast I barely had time to blink.

Internship was definitely something new for me.

From having my own little tiny space to work in...(with plug points ok!)

To having to punch in cards everyday at 8am and then again at 5pm and worrying about not making it in time due to the horrible horrible Kuala Lumpur jam.

The first day we received our official cards, Meow and I got so excited and confused at the thought of punching in our cards.

What year are we in
There were definitely a lot of highlights during this one month like being able to really observe the court proceedings, how cases are solved, the preparation, learning how to work the binding machine and the photostating, and  finding cases, and summons and affidavits (phew!)and everything was just so fascinating and new.

There's a lot in store for us after law school that's for sure.

One thing that made the one month not just educational but also super duper fun though?

Them.
Plus Poh, who is not in the picture :)

I honestly think I would've been minced meat without all of them. They took us in from the very first day and always made an effort to make us feel welcomed, even though we were clearly the two aliens there and would totally understand if they didn't want us there.

Am so going to miss their craziness! And the fact that even when we were swamped with work, they could all still laugh merrily and go about their day all chilled.

That's a skill I really need to learn .Don't know how they do it.

Happy kids.

Will miss our roti canai breakfasts, sneaking out on court days, and the random giggles when we discuss people using code names trololol,

Such lovely people and I have no doubt that they would make excellent  lawyers, judges, professors astronauts, comedians in the future!

2) Volunteered for GES

Huh. I can't really say volunteer considering we got paid for it, but since that was the first international event I ever intentionally wanted to be a part of, I would say that it was definitely a big deal! For me la okay for me.

Worked for almost a week at the war room , then moving in between two hotels and going back and forth to the main hotel for the actual event.

Anyway, such an experience i swear!

Fellow volunteers under secretariats!
There were only the three of us under that biro, so I'm pretty sure they were sick of my abnormalities by the end of the event .

Sitting there at the information counter wasn't dead boring because of them! Couldn't have asked for better teammates, really.

Took loads of pictures but since I don't think it's right for me to post any of the pictures without actual permission here's a picture of me and this random girl sneaking off to the fancy hotel toilet to gossip.

Random girl. Don't know who.
We also got to enjoy the last day doing whatever we wanted so naturally, being in the more scandalous part of KL , Sha  Random girl and I decided to take a walk!

Random girl who insisted on following me back. Ugh.
Decided we weren't tanned enough so we tried to get ourself tanned. (well, tanner)
Was a nice ending to an overall hectic week!

And now it's currently Friday night and I believe there's a fruit tart in the fridge with my name on it.
