Kitty's Bachelorette

So Kitty is getting married!

This lovely lady right here!
This week to be more precise.

I feel like it was only yesterday that we were sitting on each other's beds in our Kuantan room talking about boys, relationships and our doubts with this whole marriage institution. But nope.

That was 5 years ago!

Crazy how fast time is moving.

So anyway, we ( myself, Meowie, and the rest of Kitty's lovely bridesmaids) got  together to plan her bachelorette.

We knew we wanted it to be pink, flowery, girly and cheap  reasonably priced.

I don't think I have even been directly involved in a wedding before, nor have I ever been a bridesmaid  so you can just imagine the jakun level I was on when we took on the task of planning a bachelorette.

Bought most of the stuff at this wonderful party planning place somewhere near Pavillion.

Conveniently I can't remember the name of the store. I swear something is squeezing the juice out of my brains because I can barely remember anything anymore.

Should start drinking those nasty pati ayam brand thing again.

So yeah!

Meowie and I went shopping with a rather tight budget because lets face it, most of us are not working and are constantly broke. But no worries, made it work.

We had a little too much fun shopping for the decorations and gifts. Had even more fun picking out  cringe-worthy lingerie for her, but no pictures there for err....reasons.

Bought her a feather boa.

Didn't get the pink tiara because cash was running low :(
We also bought some veil type fabric to make Kitty her very own pink and purple veil!

If you have no talent whatsoever when it comes DIY , I highly recommend this video if you want to make easy poofy veil haha.

After hours of glue gunning, sewing and swearing with Meowie.
Considering we bought and made everything one day before the party itself, I think we did a pretty decent job!

The party was suppose to be at this Flora terrace place in KL but due to some miscommunication, we had to move it to Acme.

Which is pretty decent too because we got our own private space at the very corner of the restaurant.

With the Bride and her lovely childhood friends!
All in all, I think everything went rather smoothly and the main important thing is we got a few giggles from watching Kitty perform a bunch of ridiculously embarassing dares ( all in the name of love buddy boo) and as a bonus we even made her cry tears of terharuness so yay for that!

Kisses for the future Mrs!
Ps. Still can't believe she will be married by the end of this week.

Travel Part 3

It is 1.40 am and I am currently having a mental breakdown thinking about my future.

Instead of feeding my brains with more negative thoughts, I shall just resume Part 3 because I made a promise to nobody in particular that I would finish this travel post and to do otherwise would be sinning and sinners will go to hell.

5) Zagreb

This time we stayed in a rather happening part of the town where the nightlife was extremely amazing because we were surrounded mainly with bars and cafes with live music.

Love the ceiling
There was a bar right under our toilet window.
We could hear people chatting as we were spitting into the sink

I like how they isolated the toilet like right at the back part of the bathroom. Everytime you have to go, you will feel like you just got a time out or something and you need to repent all alone in isolation.

Nightlife
Had the most amazing hot chocolate there too.

All thick and chocolatey. Gah
About a few blocks away from the place we stayed in, there was a morning market and a place you could take the trams to go places.

We would go there in the mornings and I would have to yank mum away from the insanely beautiful looking fresh flowers and fruits.
Seriously look at that

One morning we took the bus to Lake Plitvice which was the most magical place ever. Seriously.

But before that here is a picture of the bus station. Tadaa

I've never been to a bus station in Malaysia  ( i think) so here is one in Croatia muehehe
Anyway. The park. Yes.

When we first entered the park I was like, MasyaAllah...Indahnya ciptaan Tuhan..

Okay fine no.

It was more like  "Oh my god!!Maaaa look at that!"

And then I grabbed Mum's hand and elbowed my way through the crowd of angry tourists to get a better view.

My blurry non professional photos will not do justice as to how absolutely breathtaking that place  is. I recommend going there yourself at least once before you die or if you are like me now, with no money, then you can just Google better quality images.

Water so clear

There were a lot of different routes or courses you could choose, depending on your level of stamina and what you wanted to see.

Some courses will take you to a boat ride , and some will take you to the waterfall.

Wish we had the whole day to spend there to explore the whole park but that was not possible because we had to take our bus back to the place we were staying in Zagreb.

If you ever want to visit here, I recommend dedicating a whole entire day just for the park because there's just so much to see!

Magical cave where I almost fell and broke my neck.
Some overly friendly ducks. Or swans.
My favourite place in the whole wide world  to this date.

Alright I'm done.
