Burgers

Mum has this hobby of torturing our stuffed animals.

Arwah Bo.
She would tie up their arms, hang them upside them down, write sad messages next to them and if she's feeling really evil, she would even give them to the cats.

So last Monday I was in desperate need of a printer to print out my assignments and I realized around noon that my printer ran out of ink. Perfect timing I swear.

Long story short, I ended up in Sunway with Binxy!

She was suppose to be in Monash to do work, and I needed to print out and photostat a crap load of work so we decided to meet up and do work together.

I don't think we've ever done that before.

Even in high school, when we were sitting together, I don't think we ever did work together haha.

Then we both felt like having burgers so off to Johnny Rockets we merrily skipped!

 Meat meat meat!
The guy drew a smiley face with the ketchup which is adorable. I love that place!

All the dancing, happy faces, and upbeat music! It's like stepping into a Hairspray movie or something.

Also, that day I came to realize that i have to probably learn how to eat more like a lady and less like a...cow.

See the difference between how a lady eats and how a cow eats can be illustrated through:

Get up tick tock

Tests, assignments, final year project paper all piling up.

I've been relying on Nescafe to keep me awake and active at night because sleeping on time like I usually do means that I'll wake up to a crap load of work the next morning and big fat regret sign on my forehead.

But even when I don't have time, I still manage to find a way to waste time.

I always regret that few hours I spend on the Internet either going through Youtube or browsing Tumblr .

And yet, here I am..

Cameron Highland's Smokehouse Adventure

The other day we had scones!

See, the three of us were always talking about taking some time off from studies and the mundane daily routines and just get in the car (well originally it was a plane) and go somewhere we could take pictures and have nice food and just have fun.

But the problem is , with all three of us studying different things in different places with different holidays, every plan for a short little getaway failed. Sometimes because of the money , and most of the time it's because of the timing.

But somehow, this random little trip worked out!

Our initial plan was to go to London. But that was a bit too ambitious for the moment so we settled for somewhere a little more...ah screw it. I'm just going to pretend we went to London.

Okay. London. We went to Cameron Highlands London ! Yes.

Yeah in case you were wondering what's with the flower crowns, that was my fault. I insisted that everyone should bring along their flower crowns so we could take pictures and pretend we were woodland creatures.

Talk about a deprived childhood.

The trip there was rather pleasant! I thought we were going to sleep in the car first class section of the airplane but of course we didn't.

We babbled on the entire journey more than my primary school teacher during Monday assemblies.

Anyhoo, the main event was the food of course! We had the delectable scones I was craving for almost 4 months and then pigged out on other tea type food like sandwiches and tiny cakes.

We even insisted on waiting till 11am (which was when they start serving tea) just so we could have the tea and scones.

Fairy creatures
Those eggs. They just stare deep into your soul...
Ironically I didn't take pictures of the scones.

London Cameron  was definitely much colder than the last time I went! The weather was cold enough for us to prance around in our dresses and it only started drizzling after we were done exploring the ground and taking pictures.

That's us walking down two paths pretending to be dramatic.

We also had lavender ice cream for the very first time! It tasted exactly like how it smells. I'm not really sure if that's a good thing, but it was fascinating nevertheless.

Two hands holding lavender ice cream with lavender in the background oh and look got yellow flowers
Me floating gracefully towards the gate and another fairy creature.
You'll probably just see my backside throughout this whole thing, mainly because I'm too lazy to censor out my face.

And then we got married and lived happily ever after..
Look at Juliekin's terrified face at the thought of being married to me.

All in all it was a pretty fantastic day!

So next stop, New Zealand Negeri Sembilan!! :D

The end!

So many things happened and I didn't even document any of it in my blog!

I'm a failure.

1) End of internship

Yes, yes the last time I blogged I was super nervous to start on that journey and now it's already over woops. One month pretty much zoomed away super fast I barely had time to blink.

Internship was definitely something new for me.

From having my own little tiny space to work in...(with plug points ok!)

To having to punch in cards everyday at 8am and then again at 5pm and worrying about not making it in time due to the horrible horrible Kuala Lumpur jam.

The first day we received our official cards, Meow and I got so excited and confused at the thought of punching in our cards.

What year are we in
There were definitely a lot of highlights during this one month like being able to really observe the court proceedings, how cases are solved, the preparation, learning how to work the binding machine and the photostating, and  finding cases, and summons and affidavits (phew!)and everything was just so fascinating and new.

There's a lot in store for us after law school that's for sure.

One thing that made the one month not just educational but also super duper fun though?

Them.
Plus Poh, who is not in the picture :)

I honestly think I would've been minced meat without all of them. They took us in from the very first day and always made an effort to make us feel welcomed, even though we were clearly the two aliens there and would totally understand if they didn't want us there.

Am so going to miss their craziness! And the fact that even when we were swamped with work, they could all still laugh merrily and go about their day all chilled.

That's a skill I really need to learn .Don't know how they do it.

Happy kids.

Will miss our roti canai breakfasts, sneaking out on court days, and the random giggles when we discuss people using code names trololol,

Such lovely people and I have no doubt that they would make excellent  lawyers, judges, professors astronauts, comedians in the future!

2) Volunteered for GES

Huh. I can't really say volunteer considering we got paid for it, but since that was the first international event I ever intentionally wanted to be a part of, I would say that it was definitely a big deal! For me la okay for me.

Worked for almost a week at the war room , then moving in between two hotels and going back and forth to the main hotel for the actual event.

Anyway, such an experience i swear!

Fellow volunteers under secretariats!
There were only the three of us under that biro, so I'm pretty sure they were sick of my abnormalities by the end of the event .

Sitting there at the information counter wasn't dead boring because of them! Couldn't have asked for better teammates, really.

Took loads of pictures but since I don't think it's right for me to post any of the pictures without actual permission here's a picture of me and this random girl sneaking off to the fancy hotel toilet to gossip.

Random girl. Don't know who.
We also got to enjoy the last day doing whatever we wanted so naturally, being in the more scandalous part of KL , Sha  Random girl and I decided to take a walk!

Random girl who insisted on following me back. Ugh.
Decided we weren't tanned enough so we tried to get ourself tanned. (well, tanner)
Was a nice ending to an overall hectic week!

And now it's currently Friday night and I believe there's a fruit tart in the fridge with my name on it.
